The film takes place in a small town in Nebraska, where silence usually reigns. But everything changes when the locals decide to replace unprofitable corn fields with new crops, and this decision awakens terrible rage in children. Suddenly, a bloody massacre begins, in which dozens of people die.
What happened? Did real demons arise in ordinary children, forcing them to kill their own fathers? The situation is aggravated every day and it seems that the children have completely lost their minds. Will the adult population be able to survive and cope with the madness of children?
