The protagonist of the film, Christopher Robin, is a grown-up boy who still lived with his parents in a small cottage located right in the middle of the forest. In the neighborhood with him lived an experienced honey lover bear Winnie the Pooh, donkey Eeyore, their mutual friend Piglet and other fairy-tale characters that Robin took care of and always fed.
One day, Christopher leaves for a big city, acquires a full-fledged family, and completely forgets about old friends. But the years go by, Winnie, Piglet and Eeyore are not at all the kind inhabitants of the forest that they were before. When Robin, together with his family and children, decides to return to the places of his childhood, fairy-tale characters are waiting for him, but not for good news, but to avenge the betrayal.
